The historic pastry shop in the neighborhood and beyond. My grandparents used to come there.
What can we say, we have to be careful, because so far there are few pastry shops that can keep up with it in terms of quality and flavour, from cakes to pastries and pastries.
But I have to share the review.
Until two years ago, the quality and delicacy were ten, then being regular customers, the hand of the pastry chef has changed, you can feel that some desserts are as we remembered them and others are not.
Life goes on as you get older and retire.
Therefore for new customers and always a top for old customers like me they notice some changes.
Location not great and a little dated. The experience was mixed, on the one hand the goodness of the desserts was appreciated, on the other the service was not exactly courteous. Unfortunately, another negative note was the bad smell of stale cigarette smoke.
The professionalism of the Duranti pastry shop is equal to the quality and goodness of its products. My two children's birthday cakes are always millefeuille with strawberries. A light, fresh and fragrant millefeuille that ends immediately. Must try at least once if you pass by Piazza Bologna <3
Pastry shop with high quality products. All the cakes are excellent, especially the scher which is really top notch!
I ordered a small profiterole cake from Duranti, convinced by the positive reviews in the neighborhood. The cake was amazing, the best I've ever had, I would order a lifetime supply. The quality and goodness are worth the price.
